We are meeting to establish a spiritual community as a support network for light-minded individuals, meeting in Florence twice monthly at the full moon and new moon. There is no charge and the meditations are open to all interested participants. Bring your business cards and announcements of new thought and spiritual events or businesses to share with others!

About the Full Moon Meditations:

Helen Holmes, Astrologer, often gives a pre-meditation talk on the astrological influences present at the time of the full moon. Although she travels a lot, she is sometimes available to lead the meditations and speak at them. (Check the schedule to see the exact dates that she will give a talk.)

About New Moon Meditations:

At the new moon meetings we are holding goddess journeys to the underworld based on the RJ Stewart faery and Underworld concepts. For more information on RJ Stewart, a Scottish magician & author who tours and holds workshops throughout the US, visit his Website at www.dreampower.com.

At the new moon meditation we plant the seeds that blossom with the powerful energies of the full moon. We strive to arrive at an understanding of the deeper meaning behind the great ideas of the coming age in order to bring this understanding and energy into our lives.

About the Meditions In General:

The actual meditations are based loosely on the works of Alice Bailey and the teachings of the Arcane School.

Helen Holmes has many years of experience in esoteric studies including astrology, the teachings of Alice Bailey, and more recently the Underworld Tradition with R.J. Stewart. She has led meditation and study groups for several years in Florida, Maryland, and Tennessee. Her current pre-meditation talks incorporate many teachings into a fuller spiritual worldview.

Directions:

Directions from downtown Florence, Main Street:
1. Drive East towards Pueblo on Main Street past the Texaco/Kwik Stop on the edge of town and take the very next left onto Gumaer.

2. Drive down to the first stop sign and turn right onto 3rd Street. 3rd Street turns into County Road 142 just past the San Juan apartments.

3. We live 1/4 mile further down the road on the left. Look for a two-story house with log cabin siding and alpacas in the yard or the Christmas lights on the fence.

If you come to the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 115, then you've gone too far. Parking is available in the back.

Directions from Canon City:
1. Turn south towards Florence on Hwy 67.

2. Once in Florence, turn left onto 3rd street (the first left after the park).

3. Proceed about two miles down 3rd Street. 3rd Street turns into County Road 142 just past the San Juan apartments.

4. We live 1/4 mile further down the road on the left. Look for a two-story house with log cabin siding and alpacas in the yard or the Christmas lights on the fence.

If you come to the stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 115, then you've gone too far. Parking is available in the back.

Directions from Pueblo:
1. Drive West on Highway 50 towards Canon City and the mountains about 25 miles.

2. Watch for the Florence/Colorado Springs exit on your right (Highway 115) (about five miles before you reach Canon City).

3. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left (South) towards Florence onto Hwy 115.

4. Proceed about five miles (South and West) on Hwy 115. Just as the road enters Florence you will see a large Texaco/Kwik Stop station on your right.

5. Take the next right turn just past the Texaco station onto Sunnyside.

6. Proceed to the stop sign and turn right onto 3rd Street. (3rd Street turns into County Road 142 just past the San Juan apartments.)
